Terms of service
Last updated: 4 August 2026
1. Overview
This website is operated by PillowForma. Throughout these Terms of Service, the terms “PillowForma”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to PILLOWFORMA, trading as PillowForma, of 4855 Rock Ln, Dayton, Wyoming 82836, United States.
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of pillowforma.com (the “Site”) and any purchase you make from us. They apply together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy, each of which is incorporated into these Terms where relevant.
By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. When you place an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted the version of these Terms made available to you before checkout. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site or place an order.
Our store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that allows us to offer products and services to you.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any statutory rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including rights available to consumers under United Kingdom consumer law.
2. Eligibility and online store use
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to place an order. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must place the order on your behalf.
You must not use the Site or our products for an unlawful or unauthorised purpose. You must not introduce viruses, malicious code or other material that could damage, disrupt or compromise the Site, Shopify, our systems or another person’s device or data.
We may suspend or restrict access to the Site where reasonably necessary to protect the Site, our customers, our rights or our service providers, or where we reasonably believe these Terms or applicable law have been breached.
3. Information about our products
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, measurements, specifications, prices and availability information are accurate. Images are provided for illustration, and colours may appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography and your device display. Any variation will not affect your statutory right to receive goods that match their description.
Product packaging, labels or minor non-material details may change where necessary, provided the change does not materially reduce the product’s quality, functionality or value and does not make the product materially different from its description.
All products are subject to availability. We may set reasonable purchase limits to prevent fraud, unauthorised resale or stock shortages.
4. Health and product-use information
PillowForma products are consumer comfort and sleep-support products. Information on the Site is general product information and is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent sleep apnoea or any other medical condition, and they are not a substitute for professional medical care or a prescribed medical device.
If you experience persistent or severe snoring, interrupted breathing, choking during sleep, excessive daytime sleepiness, pain or another health concern, seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional. Do not stop or alter prescribed treatment, including CPAP therapy, without medical advice.
Individual experiences and results vary. Customer feedback and testimonials describe individual experiences and do not guarantee that another customer will obtain the same result.
You must follow the product instructions and care information supplied with your order. Stop using a product and seek appropriate advice if its use causes pain, breathing difficulty, an allergic reaction or other concerning symptoms.
5. Prices, taxes and payment
Prices are displayed in the currency shown on the Site. For customers in the United Kingdom, prices will normally be displayed in pounds sterling (GBP). Before you submit an order, we will show the total price payable, including any mandatory taxes that we are required to collect and any applicable delivery charges.
If goods are dispatched internationally, information about any import duties, taxes or customs charges that are not included in the checkout price will be provided at checkout or in our Shipping Policy before you place the order, where applicable.
Prices and promotions may change at any time, but a change will not affect an order we have already accepted. If we discover an obvious pricing or description error before accepting or dispatching an order, we may contact you for instructions or cancel the affected item and issue a full refund.
You must use a valid payment method that you are authorised to use. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We may carry out or request fraud-prevention and payment-authorisation checks before accepting an order.
6. Placing an order and contract formation
Placing an order is an offer to purchase the products in your basket. After receiving your order, we will send an acknowledgement email. This acknowledgement confirms receipt but does not necessarily mean that we have accepted the order.
A contract is formed when we send a dispatch confirmation or otherwise expressly confirm that we have accepted the order. If an order contains multiple items dispatched separately, a separate contract may be formed for each item when its dispatch is confirmed.
We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance where reasonably necessary, including where:
- the product is unavailable;
- payment is not authorised;
- we cannot deliver to the address provided;
- we identify a material pricing or description error;
- the order breaches a purchase limit;
- we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse or unauthorised resale; or
- accepting the order would breach applicable law.
If we cancel an order after taking payment, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled item and any related delivery charge.
7. Customer information
You must provide current, complete and accurate order, contact, billing and delivery information. You are responsible for reviewing your details before submitting an order and for promptly contacting us if you notice an error.
We are not responsible for delay or non-delivery caused by incorrect information supplied by you where we have taken reasonable steps to fulfil the order. Additional delivery costs resulting from an incorrect address may be charged where lawful and reasonable.
8. Delivery
Delivery estimates and available methods are shown at checkout or in our Shipping Policy. Unless a different period is agreed with you, we will deliver goods without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the contract is formed.
Delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly agree that a date is essential. If a delay occurs, we will provide available information and the remedies required by applicable law.
You are responsible for ensuring that someone can receive the delivery where required. Risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or a person identified by you other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods. Ownership passes after we have received full payment and the goods have been delivered.
9. Cancellation and change-of-mind returns
If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you generally have the right to cancel an online purchase without giving a reason within 14 days after the day on which you, or a person nominated by you, receives the goods. For an order delivered in separate instalments, the period generally begins after receipt of the final instalment.
To exercise this right, you must send a clear cancellation statement to support@pillowforma.com before the cancellation period expires. You then generally have a further 14 days to return the goods, following the instructions in our Return and Refund Policy.
Unless our Return and Refund Policy states that we cover the cost, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning a change-of-mind item. We may reduce a refund to reflect a loss in value caused by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
We will issue any refund due under the statutory cancellation right within 14 days after the earliest of:
- the day we receive the returned goods;
- the day you provide evidence that the goods have been sent back; or
- where no goods were supplied, the day we are informed of the cancellation.
Where required by law, the refund includes the price paid and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery method. We will normally refund using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
The statutory cancellation right may not apply to certain goods, including sealed goods that are not suitable for return for genuine health-protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed, but only where the legal requirements for that exception are met. This exception does not affect your rights where goods are faulty, damaged, unsafe or not as described.
If we offer a promotional home trial, satisfaction guarantee or extended return period, its additional conditions will be stated on the relevant product page or in our Return and Refund Policy. Any such offer is in addition to, and does not replace or reduce, your statutory rights.
10. Faulty, damaged or misdescribed products
We have a legal duty to supply goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If a product is faulty, damaged, unsafe or not as described, you may be entitled to a refund, repair, replacement or price reduction under applicable law.
Please contact support@pillowforma.com as soon as reasonably possible with your order number and a description of the issue. We may request photographs or other reasonable information to understand the problem, but this will not be used to obstruct your legal rights.
Where the law requires us to bear the reasonable cost of returning faulty or misdescribed goods, we will provide appropriate instructions or reimburse the reasonable cost.
11. Product warranties
Any commercial warranty offered by PillowForma will be described on the relevant product page or in a separate warranty document. A commercial warranty provides additional contractual benefits and does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
A warranty may contain reasonable exclusions for accidental damage, misuse, failure to follow care instructions, unauthorised alteration and normal wear and tear, provided those exclusions do not restrict rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Promotions and discount codes
Promotions and discount codes may be subject to additional conditions displayed with the offer, including eligibility, expiry dates, qualifying products and limits on use. Unless stated otherwise, promotions cannot be combined, exchanged for cash or applied retrospectively.
We may refuse or withdraw a promotion where it is used fraudulently, unlawfully or contrary to its published conditions. This will not affect an order already accepted unless cancellation is permitted by law.
13. Accounts
If customer accounts are available, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity carried out through your account. You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
We may suspend or close an account where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention or a serious breach of these Terms. Closing an account does not remove rights or obligations relating to orders already accepted.
14. Intellectual property
The Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, photographs, videos, designs, product names, software and layout, are owned by or licensed to PillowForma and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to access and use the Site for lawful, non-commercial shopping purposes. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, scrape, republish or commercially exploit Site content without our prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
15. Reviews, feedback and other submissions
If you submit a review, photograph, comment or other content, you confirm that:
- the content is based on your honest experience where it describes a product or service;
- you own the content or have permission to submit it;
- it does not infringe another person’s intellectual-property, privacy or other rights;
- it is not unlawful, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, obscene, fraudulent or misleading; and
- it does not contain malicious code or undisclosed advertising.
You retain ownership of your content. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format and display it in connection with operating, promoting and improving PillowForma, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy. Where required, we will obtain additional permission before using identifiable customer content in advertising.
We may moderate or remove content where we reasonably believe it breaches these Terms, applicable law or platform rules. We will not knowingly publish fake reviews or suppress genuine negative reviews merely because they are unfavourable.
16. Third-party tools, links and services
The Site may use or link to services operated by third parties, including Shopify, payment providers, delivery tracking, social-media platforms or optional tools. Third parties may have their own terms and privacy notices.
We are not responsible for the content or availability of a third-party website that we do not control. This does not exclude responsibility that we have by law for providers acting on our behalf or for statements and commitments we make about the Services.
17. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review that policy for information about the data we collect, how and why we use it, who we share it with, international transfers and your rights.
18. Prohibited uses
You must not use the Site:
- for an unlawful, fraudulent or malicious purpose;
- to infringe our rights or the rights of another person;
- to submit false, misleading, defamatory, abusive or discriminatory material;
- to transmit malware or interfere with the Site’s operation or security;
- to collect or track another person’s personal data unlawfully;
- to spam, phish, impersonate another person or conceal the origin of communications;
- to scrape or access the Site through automated means in a way that burdens, damages or circumvents the Site; or
- to circumvent purchase limits, access controls or security features.
19. Availability and changes to the Site
We may update, suspend or discontinue any non-contractual feature of the Site for operational, technical, security or commercial reasons. We do not guarantee that the Site will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
This section does not permit us to avoid fulfilling an accepted order or to remove any statutory remedy. Where a Site error affects an order, we will take reasonable steps to correct it and provide any remedy required by law.
20. Our liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful. In particular, we do not exclude or limit liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- breach of your statutory rights in relation to products; or
- any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
If we breach these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of that breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. Loss is foreseeable if it was obvious that it would happen or if both parties knew it might happen when the contract was formed.
We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable, for loss caused by information or actions for which you are responsible, or for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control where we have taken reasonable steps to minimise the effect.
We supply products for private and domestic use. If you use a product for a commercial or business purpose, we are not responsible for business losses such as loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, anticipated savings or business interruption, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
21. Events outside our reasonable control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, natural disasters, transport disruption, industrial action, war, civil emergency, public-health restrictions, failure of telecommunications or interruption affecting carriers or suppliers.
If such an event affects an accepted order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and take reasonable steps to minimise the delay. If there is a substantial delay, you may have the right to cancel and receive a refund for products not supplied.
22. SMS and electronic marketing
If you expressly subscribe to PillowForma marketing messages, or where applicable law otherwise permits us to contact an existing customer, we may send promotional emails or recurring automated text messages, including promotions and cart reminders. Consent to marketing is not a condition of purchase.
Message frequency may vary, and your mobile provider may charge message or data rates. You can opt out of SMS marketing at any time by replying STOP. For assistance, reply HELP or email support@pillowforma.com. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in each email.
We may use a third-party communications provider to deliver messages. Personal data used for marketing is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable electronic-marketing law.
23. Termination
You may stop using the Site at any time. We may terminate or restrict your access where reasonably necessary because of unlawful activity, security risk, fraud or a material breach of these Terms.
Termination of Site access does not affect rights, remedies or obligations that arose before termination, including obligations relating to accepted orders, payments, returns, intellectual property and liability.
24. Severability
If a court or competent authority finds part of these Terms unlawful or unenforceable, that part will be treated as modified to the minimum extent necessary or, if modification is not possible, removed. The remaining provisions will continue in effect.
25. No waiver
If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, this does not waive our right to enforce it later. Any waiver must be clear and applies only to the specific circumstances in which it is given.
26. Transfer of rights
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation, for example as part of a business reorganisation or sale, provided this does not reduce your rights. We will notify you where required.
You may transfer your rights under these Terms where the law permits or with our written agreement.
27. Entire agreement
These Terms and the policies expressly incorporated into them form the agreement between you and us concerning the Site and your order. They do not exclude any statement or right that cannot lawfully be excluded, including product information that forms part of a consumer contract.
28. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and contracts for purchases through the Site are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections available under the law of the country in which you habitually reside.
If you live in England or Wales, the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland, you may bring proceedings in Scotland or England. If you live in Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in Northern Ireland or England. Nothing in this section limits any right you have to bring proceedings in another competent court under mandatory law.
29. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms for legal, regulatory, security, operational or business reasons. The current version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
Changes will apply to future use of the Site and future orders. The terms applicable to an order are normally those presented when the order was placed, unless a change is required by law or you expressly agree otherwise.
